Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; have a minimum course weighted average of 60; be enrolled full-time (100 credit points) in a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) at Curtin University; be enrolled in the 3rd year of study; be willing to complete vacation work with Metso if offered; and not currently hold an industry sponsored scholarship.

Mentor IMC Group Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be undertaking one of the eligible courses in the Faculty of Science and Engineering; plan to study full time (100 credits per semester); not currently hold any other company/business scholarships; and have a course weighted average of 70 or above.

KCGM Scholarship (WASM)

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; have selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC; be enrolling in the Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Metallurgical Engineering or Mining Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science with a major in Mining or Extractive Metallurgy; be transferring to the Kalgoorlie campus from the second year of study; and be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place.

John de Laeter Top Excellence Scholarship

 Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; have selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC to undertake an eligible undergraduate science degree; be undertaking the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University; and be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place.
