Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian Permanent Residents or international students who are IPRS holders commencing from 1 January; hold a bachelor degree with First Class Honours or have demonstrated an equivalent level of academic attainment as determined by USC; not have previously held an Australian Government-funded postgraduate research scholarship unless it was terminated within six months; not be in receipt of an equivalent award or salary providing a benefit greater than 75 per cent of the APA stipend rate to undertake the HDR; or have completed a degree at the same level or higher than that proposed.
