 Description:  The Alfred Deakin Scholarships in Law were introduced in 2001, the centenary of Australian Federation. Alfred Deakin, after whom the University is named, was Australia’s second Prime Minister and the first Attorney General. These scholarships will be awarded to high-achieving students admitted to the Bachelor of Laws, as a single degree or law component when combined with another degree.
