Benefits of the Scholarship:

  • Course tuition fee is included in scholarship
  • You will be offered $26,288 in 2016 as an annual leaving allowance
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) will be given for holding a subclass 547 visa
  • Awarded for 2 years for a Masters degree by research (no extension)
  • Awarded for 3 years for a Doctoral research degree (extension is possible)

Eligibility:

  • Must have completed at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honors degree
  • Must have a four year degree with a major of research project in the final year for the Honors degree
  • Must have a successful completion of all qualifying programs of study
  • Scholarships will be bestowed based on academic merit and research potential
  • Must not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be correspondent to an Australian Research Doctorate Degree (for International applicants)
  • Must not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent or higher than an Australian Research Masters Degree (if undertaking a Research Masters degree)
  • Must have provide the evidence of meeting the minimum English language proficiency requirement for direct entry before the scholarship deadline by international applicants
  • Must not complete a Pre-Enrolment English Program to meet the entry requirements for the projected program of study
  • Must be enrolled in the University of Adelaide as “international students”
  • Must be maintained an “international student” status for the duration of enrolment in the university
  • Must be a citizen and permanent residential of a country other than Australia and citizen of a country other than New Zealand.

  • Must submit a formal application for Admission and a Scholarship via online application system
  • No application fee
  • Application deadline: 31 January 2017 for Semester 1 or 2, 2017 or 30 April 2017 for Semester 2, 2017.
