Description: The PhD research project is linked to a large national and international research initiative with the following vision: to use the full potential of health literacy approaches to reduce health inequalities and disease burden. The candidate will identify particular areas within some of the broad aims above and develop an innovative PhD research program that will have direct community impact. The research topic is open to several fields: Evaluation, Psychometrics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research and Public Health and Health Promotion more broadly. The candidate will join a large and growing team of multi-disciplinary researchers focusing on reducing health inequalities though excellence in measurement, community engagement, intervention development and implementation, and outcomes evaluation. It is linked to a large international initiative called Ophelia (OPtimising HEalth LIteracy and Access).
